Representing cheese producer E-Piim in the “Vene juust” trademark dispute
Käosaar in cooperation with law firm Glimstedt represented Piimandusühistu E-Piim in the “Vene juust” trademark dispute. In the course of the dispute the courts agreed with our client’s point of view that “Vene juust” was a descriptive indication showing the kind of the cheese. The court decision confirms that the designation “Vene juust” as showing the product category and must remain free to be used by all enterprises.
