Jüri has graduated in mechanical engineering from the Tallinn University of Technology in 1968 with a diploma in fine mechanics.
1969-1992 he worked in the field of engineering and patents in the Tartu branch office of the Special Construction Bureau of the Estonian Academy of Sciences.
During 1971-1975 he studied as the postgraduate of the Estonian Academy of Sciences at the North-West Correspondence Polytechnic Institute of St. Petersburg (Leningrad).
In 1984 he graduated from the Moscow Patent Institute.
In 1992 Jüri obtained a Master of Science Degree at the Tallinn University of Technology.
1997-2000 doctoral studies at the Tallinn University of Technology.
Estonian patent attorney No 6 since 1992,
European patent attorney since 2002,
European trademark and design attorney since 2004.
Member of the Association of Estonian Patent Attorneys.
In 1992 Jüri Käosaar established the Patent and Trademark Agency Käosaar & Co. As managing director he administers the company’s economic activities and settles problems in different areas (trademarks, patents, utility models, industrial designs).
He has passed a training programme in USA.
He is a member of several international organisations like FICPI, epi, INTA .
Jüri is collecting pencils and there are around 12000 pencils in his collection, he is also a member of the American Pencil Collectors Society (APCS).

Kalev has graduated from the Audentes University in 2001 and in 2007 Institute of Law at the University of Tartu with a diploma in law.
Estonian trademark and design attorney since 2004,
Member of the Association of Estonian Patent Attorneys,
European trademark and design attorney since 2004.
Kalev has been working in the company since 1999 and is currently the Head of the Tallinn Office.
His main areas of practice are the registration and the legal protection of the trademarks including work with customs and the police as concerns the counterfeit goods.
He has passed training programmes in Denmark and USA.
Kalev is a member of FICPI and EPS (Association of the Estonian Patent Attorneys).

As Anneli has been working in the company since 2002 and she has experienced working in all departments. Her area of practice involves entering the trademarks into the register, renewals of trademarks, registering and legal protection of industrial designs, renewals of utility models. She also settles legal problems and deals with customs problems concerning the counterfeit goods.

In 2008 she became the Head of the Patent Department and her work involves different aspects in dealing with patents.
Leevi is experienced in drafting and filing of patents in chemical filed, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnological products.
She has participated in the training programmes at EPO and in Germany.

2000-2007 worked in the Estonian Patent Office as a patent expert. She has been working in our firm since 2008 and her main working tasks are carrying out searches and also consulting clients in inventions and patents.
She has also participated in the European Patent Academy Seminars.
